The property belongs to the state of Florida. The people of Florida. The people of the state of Florida should decide if they want a road on their protected lands and if they do then the state should pay for it.

At least it's becoming more obvious who's behind this. Here's a list of local developers and realtors backing this:

Yep. It's a road for developers. $35,000 from St Joe and $20,000 from Seaside. More developers and realtors on the list. Cash should not decide what becomes of our protected lands owned by citizens.

You should chat with your neighbors. Miramar is the most dense district we have and y'all are getting about 10% of the funding, but you'll provide about 30-40% of the revenue.

Everyone in Miramar Beach can sleep better knowing that millionaires in Water Sound are shaving upwards of 5 minutes off their commute to the new elementary school with their kids.

Sure, we agree that Dave's infrastructure slush fund needs to be stopped.

The interesting part is 1% covers these improvements, but no maintenance....
