The funn starts at 3AM in my experience. That's when the night takes a turn home, or to watch the sunrise.

But not at 17. I was a good kid back then. Still am.;-)

Sorry I missed your posts. I trust my daughter, and she always calls if she's running late, and is never out past midnight. She's a go-getter, bright kid, IB program,1450 SAT, 32 ACT, job at the library, and met the guy at church. What scared me is that he's an Art major at the University of Kansas. Holy crap!!!!!!!

Mermy - I'm betting your daughter doesn't have to sneak out. because you trust her and know her to make good decisions, she can just go without sneaking. this is the best possible scenario, and its all based on trust and respect on your part and hers.

Tootsie, you're right on the mark. When I hauled Philippa off the driveway last night at 2:15 am, she was highly indignant that I was in a rage about it. Because, as she said, she wasn't sneaking out: the stairs creak enough to wake the dead, she was only on the driveway, and she was in full view. What was there to be upset about? Plus (this is the best part ;-) ), she was disappointed in me that I wasn't impressed with her excellent time management. You see, Philippa couldn't fall asleep last night, and it would have been a total waste of her time if she just lay in bed counting sheep when she could have been having a conversation with her boyfriend instead. The logic of teens slays me.
