It was rather hot. I was in Group 2 (due to a qualifying time in another race), so I started at 7:30. He was in Group 8 and didn't start until about 8:45, so it was a lot hotter then, and you lose the shade from trees and buildings. But he trained last week on 30-A. The conditions are much more hellacious on 30-A with the heat and humidity even at 7 AM and a rather flat road than they are on Peachtree Street at 10 AM.

Whoo! Hooo! :clap_1::clap_1::clap_1:

Congratulations BR and hubby. You should be proud of yourself. No wonder you can still wear a string bikini. :clap_1:

We both finished the Peachtree today! It was my husband's first. They picked my favorite T-shirt design (woo-hoo), although they put it on a green background. :dunno:

We had funn, then had funn at lunch with daughter and her boyfriend.

Happy 4th, everyone!

Congrats to you both and on the T-shirt. :clap_1: I wish you had taken my thighs. Happy 4th right back at ya!
