Beach Runner said:It was rather hot. I was in Group 2 (due to a qualifying time in another race), so I started at 7:30. He was in Group 8 and didn't start until about 8:45, so it was a lot hotter then, and you lose the shade from trees and buildings. But he trained last week on 30-A. The conditions are much more hellacious on 30-A with the heat and humidity even at 7 AM and a rather flat road than they are on Peachtree Street at 10 AM.
