not being able to edit my last post?!?!?

I want to delete it- I fear I have jinxed myself :bang:

Why is the edit button on this post but not the last one?

I'm sure everything will be fine. It really stinks that they've made you wait so long. I guess it would make me question if I really wanted to work there. :dunno: I hope it all works out and you can move to paradise soon!

Thank you sooo much. I hope it works out. Well, they just seemed like a place where I would really fit in with when I interviewed. And everything seemed fine until these last two weeks. I'm pulling my hair out... but at least I have a back-up plan and should hear from that by Friday - we shall see

Anybody else need a graphic designer? (shamless self-promo)
portfolios.com/laurahay :D

Thanks again!

and thanks to Kurt for erasing it!

It has made me question it- and then I end up closing my eyes, clicking my heels and find myself saying...
"there's NO place like SoWal, there's NO place like SoWal!" :D

This may be true, but there may be better jobs. Whatever is suppose to happen will happen. Keep the faith. Good Luck.

Have you called them to thank them for the interview and follow-up? Often your follow-up call helps them determine your interest and determination level.

People who can't commit to a bumper sticker--attaching them with Scotch tape to the inside of a back window. How busy--or anal--do you have to be to not be able to deal with sticker removal from a window or a bumper? :dunno:

Where on earth did you see someone do that? That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. The scotch tape is going to leave a sticky residue that's even worse than the bumper sticker residue. Duh!

hee, hee--

I would NEVER do that with a bumper sticker, but I absolutely refused to stick my school parking permit on my brand new car. I told the security officer that since it was a convertible, I didn't want to put it in the back windshield. He told me I could just tuck it in the front somewhere. (I didn't use tape, either. No residue at all.)

That's probably just as tacky, but, like I said, I'm not about to gunk up my tiny little car with some big ol' sticker!
