Thanks Joe for the photos. It seems like things have changed a lot on Eastern Lake Road since September, as far as new growth. I really hate to see our quiet little piece of heaven become a bustling, crowded beach. Hopefully everyone will be gone before we come down in October.

Thanks again for the pics. It is wonderful to be able to see what is going on.

A copy of what original? The new construction or Palmetto Cottage?

(Hope you were not affected by the mudslides.)

Smiling Joe,
I am interested in having a clear copy of the new construction picture of the lot on Williams St. Yes, I was clearly affected by the mudslides, I was driving my Mail truck less than 1 mile from the huge slide when I got stuck on the freeway (between other slides) for about 3 and a half hours. I could not even get out of the truck until the last half hour for just a moment before the Highway Patrol turned me around on the southbound side, only to drive north on the southbound side. I ultimitely was stuck in Santa Barbara county for a day and a half, before I decided to drive around all the closures
of highways which took me almost 8 hours! It felt good to be back. I did know (for a long period of time from the beach area I grew up in), the man named Charlie Womack who was BURIED ALIVE! Anyway, enough of that, thank you for your help, and all the pics.

I was just about to send you the photo, then realized I have deleted it. I will be out in that area tomorrow, and will get you a new one if the rain clears out of here. If you don't see it before Sat., simply remind me.
