It would also be hysterical if they were fed a diet of cherry picked data that encouraged war in an oil rich country by two oil men one of them being a former CEO of a company that was to receive billions in no bid contracts and this man was the VP and personally made close to forty million from the war effort.

True, as the bottom line, Bush, as President, is to blame. I don't disagree. But like many of my left leaning friends, you seem to think that the war occurred in a vacuum. It did not.

You are so blinded by your party affiliation that you miss the big picture. I didn't say Obama did nothing right. That's just what you, as someone who appears to only look for political fights on the internet, sees in my response.

This isn't a for or against exercise on my part. It's more of a stroll through life mocking those, either far left or far right, that are truly the biggest political problem we have in this country right now.

I am not affiliated with any party and never have been, but I confess to be liberal. My problem with your post was it didn't present the complete picture. This is a standard rightwing tactic, incomplete data, edited videos, and quotes, etc.

No the war didn't occur in a vacuum and no one ever claimed it did. When looking at both major political parties, which one is constantly pushing for escalating the war?

Of the two parties, I'd agree that the right is way more hawkish.

With regard to Iraq, do you think we should walk away now or, since we broke it, should we fix it?

Also, where do you think the 4th estate fits in the equation? They do love them some good war porn.

If Iraq isn't willing to fight for their own country why should our men and women die for them? I do not believe in democracy at gunpoint.

I agree the media is a problem. It shouldn't be, but it is ratings based and sadly they are giving their viewers what they want. Says a lot about our population doesn't it?
