I have no interest in electing a RINO who will simply do the same things Obama is doing. 8 years of Bush was more than enough. Just because you say you are a small government conservative does not mean you are one.

Thank God you never voted for him.

The first time I was dumb enough to believe what he said ( much like liberals must feel about Obama these days) and the second time was the lessor of two evils. Same with McCain in 2008. I hope this time we get a choice not an echo.

You voted for him - twice - stop with the excuses.

...(or) The Little Shop of Horrors...except for Trump.

I guess I will have to stick with Barack in 2012--he has kept us safe, unemployment is slowly coming down, and my family has benefitted directly from National Healthcare Reform.

As someone who's already experiencing the negative effects of so-called reform, I won't consider voting for him, but, in fairness I generally find it very difficult to vote for the incumbent.

In the case of Obama - 1st term we have
  1. Gross mishandling of the BP debacle
  2. Reauthorization of the Patriot Act
  3. Guantanamo continued
  4. Warrantless wiretapping continued
  5. Janet Incompetano still having a job
  6. Libya
  7. Health Care 'Reform'
  8. Continuation of the Wall St/Banking/GM bailout
  9. No movement on Immigration reform
These are just a few of the reasons that I couldn't vote for him.

In the case of Bush 2 - 1st term the combined impact of:
  1. Stem Cell Ban (the partial one)
  2. No child too far ahead
  3. Federal welfare for big pharma
  4. Iraq
  5. DHS/TSA
  6. Patriot Act
  7. There were lots more, I just didn't know about them until later
made voting for him inconceivable. We all pretty much know what happened in his second term.

In the case of Clinton - 1st term the combined impact of:
  1. Removal of indexing on income tax
  2. Motor Voter
  3. NAFTA
  4. MFN status for China
  5. HIPAA
  6. WIPO treaty (which also led to the DMCA on his watch)
made voting for him impossible. Hiis intervention in Kosovo and signing of the DMCA, Enron, Worldcom and support for Kyoto in his second term just reinforced the decision.

What is curious about these three is that in spite of the fact that we have one "conservative" (Bush) one "centrist" (Clinton) and one "liberal" (Obama) we seem to get the same results and same mistakes. Makes one wonder.:dunno:
