Why don't you stop beating around the bush and step up and state your position. I have stated mine very clearly and would appreciate you doing likewise. You have a position on this subject but seem reluctant to present it. I feel as if I'm playing charades with a child and the game is getting tiresome.

What confuses you about my statement that corruption in NO is systemic? Are you seriously doubting it? Don't be silly.

The reason why you felt secure, confident, and glad that George W. Bush was elected President on September 11, 2001, was because our President showed up and led that day, and the few days that followed. /quote]

Can we please stop pretending this President did something heroic, went above and beyond, stood tall, did what no other could do, or any other BS
way people have described his actions that day? This man is not and never has been a leader for this country. He sat there with a deer in the headlights look for seven plus minutes after supposedly being told of the attack and had no idea what to do. That video is probably the single most revealing evidence of this man's character. At 8:48 am on 9-11 the first pictures of the burning WTC were being broadcast. Long before that the FAA, NORAD, the National Military Command Center, the Pentagon, the White House, the Secret Service, and Canada?s Strategic Command all knew that three commercial airplanes had been hijacked.
So why did the great "Decider", at 9:03 a.m.?fifteen minutes after it was clear the United States was under terrorist attack?sit down with a classroom of second-graders and begin a 20-minute pre-planned photo op? We will never get a true answer to this question.
His subsequent speeches were not anymore uplifting or motivating than anything you, me, or any other citizen could read and deliver. It was the people of this country that came together that day to rally around our President hoping for true leadership. George W. Bush had the entire country on his side, it was his moment in history to become one the greatest leaders of all time and he totally blew it.

If he was half the man of you, upon first hearing of the dastardly deed, he would have found a telephone booth, donned his cape and extinguished the blaze with his frosty breath.

This is my last post with you on this subject. You act as if you have some special inside knowledge about NO that no one else posesses and we are to take your word on it. It doesn't work that way. If you know details about specific corruption activities in NO please share it or be a hero and go to the authorities and save the taxpayers some money. Unless of course you're part of it.

No need to take my word on it - will James Gill's do?

He uses arcane English terminology that has adopted racist connotations over the years. It amounts to coded racist taunting. Look here http://www.sowal.com/bb/showthread.php?t=30889and scroll down to post #23. Be prepared for some serious rubbernecking. He's a living breathing train wreck.

Apparently, it was not appropriate for me to refer to you as a moron. Sorry ...... you're challenged.

I'll just leave you to continue on your path:
