Are you always late, right on time, or early?

The only time I am early is when everyone else is late (if Scooterbug gets somewhere on time and noone sees it, did it actually happen?), they have told me the wrong time (on purpose), or someone else was in charge of getting me there.

I personally like being prompt, neither too early or late. That was easy when I was single...

I aim for being on time because I hate being early. I have this absurd fear of wasting time and being bored and if you're early you might find yourself in that situation.

Merman I notice is getting quite irrational in his old age about being early. It's especially bad when we have to get on a plane. He'd rather wait in a terminal for half a day, just in case the lines are long at security or whatever. Me, I like to cut it close and in 50 years I've never missed a plane. I've held one or two up but they've always been perfectly gracious and waited on the tarmac for me (it's true). :D

I cut it dangerously close getting to the airport. I did so much bidness travel prior to 9.11.01, I had it down to the mere seconds. Had to shift a bit after that, but my bidness travel was over by then and it was all pleasure. I have missed a train (in Europe) and had to take a flight. That was irritating, but just all part of the adventure.

Oh, I did miss a flight once because we looked at the tickets and saw 9:50. But, flight was at 9:05. Was funny cause it was NYE and we were a little late getting to NYC! The traffic getting into the city on NYE is a nightmare! All part of the adventure, I suppose. We ordered chinese take out and watched TV - we were wiped out!

I am almost always on time. I was 2 weeks late in the delivery of my first born. But I blame that on her, I was ready.
