I was supposed to be born early, then ended up being 2 weeks late - obviously forces beyond my control have set my schedule!

i got in trouble in grade school for being late so much, the principal said he was going to have to call my mom about it. i said please do, because she is the reason i am late every morning - she drops me off on her way to work ! she worked at the same place for 47 years and was late every single day. my dad worked at the same place as mom for 48 years and was never late - go figure

I hate being late. I am most often early and it drives the wife and kids crazy when we go on a trip. I am ready, loaded and itching to go and if anyone is late I tend to get ballistic. It is not so bad anymore because they have all felt the wrath and do not want to go through that again. ThoughI have gotten a lot calmer in the later years.
i would've but he had to be to work at 0600....mom didn't go in until 0800 which translated into 0815 or 0830....
It's just the opposite in the DD house. I'm always ready on time or early. Always arrive early or on time. The other half--not so much. He makes 10 trips back into the house to make sure he's got everything, stuff's turned off, etc. Drives me insane! I don't go ballistic any more, it tends to make things worse.
