I really wish I didn't feel like I had to- but from the job loss to here I feel people making assumtions about someone they don't know- me. Sorry- but I refuse to get upset from people's false statements and then to let people believe them.

I have been physically upset all night reading this board- it really does make me sick to the stomach.

Sympathy is an amazing thing and I wish some of you had it. I'm not asking for pity- just asking to leave me alone already. I just wanted to let you all know what happened and to be done with it, but someone had to say something about how it was probably my doing or judging my character which is totally out of line.

passionate- yes.
over this crap- yes.

Bluefox,I am sorry this has made you fill sick.To be honest I fill really sad myself. You be strong, and know you are on my mind and heart.

hope everyone feels better this morning. this looks like a case of serious mis-communication. it also appears that BF was just not in a position to follow through as much as she may have wanted to. its an unfortunate situation for all, but really - this level of personal detail isn't necessary on the board. I believe both parties have really good intentions, and love for the pups, but it just wasn't to be. my only wish is for a good home for those precious dogs.

Here's a great story for anyone who wants to read it:

On Saturday I had to go up to school for an informative meeting about the graduate program, which was immediately followed by an interview that determined whether or not I was a suitable candidate for the Music Ed program.

During the meeting, one of the other students asked what to expect during the interview. The powers that be told us that it would be basic questions about our views of music education, "Just answer the questions in a conversational way, and tell us how you feel about what we ask."

She hesitated, looked over at the department chair, looked back at us, and continued: "And know when to shut up."

Great story! In the words of my unimitable high school english teacher: "It is better to be thought stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." I can't claim to always know when to stop talking, but it's a good idea in theory!

Up the hill from the Gateway Arch
Many years ago, when my insurance company was paying a lot of money for a therapist to help me make some sense of my life, I received a piece of advice that was worth every penny. When you feel there's something you really, really want to say, that's usually a sign you should keep it to yourself. When you feel there's something that's going to be hard to say, that's usually a sign it should be said.

Fried okra, side of horseradish, please.

This thread is supposed to be about find Lola and Zepplin a good home. Cannot close it yet because Huskerfan doesn't need four dogs. Let's get back to the point of the thread and find the dogs a home.

Love me some good horseradish sauce on batter fried mushrooms!
Sorry SJ...this should be on the dining & food thread....
I DO want those pups to find a good home!  Maybe a NEW thread should be started?????:dunno:
Maybe people should be talking about the dogs on the "Puppies Need A Home" thread, and we wouldn't need to start a new thread. It ain't rocket science. ;-)

For the record, Huskerfan's phone numbers are on post number 102 or 103. (I cannot remember which). If you know of anyone who would make a good match for Lola and Zepplin, give huskerfan a call.
