I have given my side of the story and you have given yours. At this point I am sure everyone is sick and tired of the whole thing...I know I am. As I said before, what started out as a really nice thread has turned really ugly. I am a firm beliver that everything happens for a reason and now I am even more so.

Yep, because THAT'S HOW IT HAPPENED. Notice- you never corrected anything I had to say. You never even mentioned keeping the dogs until right before I was to get them and now you chose to act like I was horrible all along? Absurd. I understand you are older and "wiser" than I, but I am sure your mother taught you about lying as a child- and you should know better than to defame a person so you can get your way. Man-up and admit you just wanted to keep the dogs- this had nothing to do with me caring for dogs- because you even said I should rescue another dog. And I will.

Don't say something bad about someone unless you're ready to back it up.

The fact that some of you believe that BS makes me ill...

If you don't want unsolicited advice or comments, don't post your life info on an internet message board. We became a lot more involved than we really wanted to in this drama.

I think many lessons were learned on this thread. I am sorry for everyone involved that there was no happy ending here, despite the best efforts of some very wonderful people.

Don't share your plights with people? You'll get reamed for nothing.
Don't expect fosters to give-up dogs? Cause that's all I was hoping for.

Look- I wasn't bashing Huskerfan before in the earlier posts I simply said she decided to keep the dogs. I wasn't looking for advice or anything else- I was simply awnsering the question of how "I was enjoying my new kids."

But- if she wants to make it like I am unfit- I will fight that. Because simply put it is- UNTRUE.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- I NEVER LIE. I would rather be hated for the truth than to be celebrated for a lie.

Oh I would- not over the dogs though- over lying about me- I draw the line there.

Remember- I am a feisty, Irish girl that takes no BS. Not starting anytime soon either.

Here's a great story for anyone who wants to read it:

On Saturday I had to go up to school for an informative meeting about the graduate program, which was immediately followed by an interview that determined whether or not I was a suitable candidate for the Music Ed program.

During the meeting, one of the other students asked what to expect during the interview. The powers that be told us that it would be basic questions about our views of music education, "Just answer the questions in a conversational way, and tell us how you feel about what we ask."

She hesitated, looked over at the department chair, looked back at us, and continued: "And know when to shut up."
