Seriously, has anyone EVER gotten better service/results by being a total arse?

I certainly won't go out of my way to help you when you're being a total **** to me and I don't know anyone who would.

P.S. if you have to tell someone how important you are, you really aren't that important!

I have to say that one thing that drives me absolutely crazy is all the idiots riding their bikes on the road instead of the bike path! There is absolutely no shoulder on scenic 30a and every car has to go around them, sometimes dangerously! How many places in the world have such an amazing bike path, custom made for people to enjoy riding their bikes on and its completely ignored by the speedo elite jerk club! This morning there were actually 3 riding abreast on the road by Deer Lake and wouldn't even get over to let cars by! GRRrrrrrrrrr. I really think South Walton should require bikes to ride only on the bike path on 30a!!

I hope the "bikers" don't see your post Douglas. There have been some very heated arguments on here about this very thing.

I didn't know this was already a topic that was discussed. It is something I feel strongly about though, so I have no problems if the 'bikers' see this! lol Thank you for your concern though sunspotbaby!

Do that. You will find there are good reasons the "speedo elite" use the road. It only takes a second or two on 30A to slow down and pass them. Not to mention the fact that they have as much right to the road as you do, according to Florida's vehicle code. No, I am not a biker, on or off the bike path.

They may have a right to the road, but they also have a freakin bike path! Regardless of the law, I personally find them annoying and I am just expressing my disgust in this rant thread.

I was momentarily annoyed when I had to go around one last week, and then I remembered that we have them all over the place up here where I live, especially on weekends. We can't exile all bikers to trails; they do have a right to the road, too. I'm personally glad for one more reminder to slow down--I would love to get out and ride more, but I'm scared to ride on the roads.

That said, there is no excuse for them riding side by side. It's dangerous, and I don't see how that falls under "Share the Road."

Moving on to something more productive...

I discovered this evening to my vast dismay that toilet seats come in different sizes! My daughter is coming to live with me for a year this Sunday and I thought I would eschew my bachelor ways and buy her a pretty toilet seat for her bathroom. I found a beautiful clear seat with dolphins and seashells and such and the bloody thing was too small! *slaps forehead in chagrin*
