Awwwww! You are so right. We had our annual Mardi Gras dinner with daughter at a Mexican restaurant, but that's okay. At least we got to be with her for a few hours.

We had King Cake too! I made roasted garlic appetizers, Dune-AHH's shrimp boil (DELISH) and King Cake. We celebrated mr. dd's birthday and Mardi Gras with good friends and two daughters and two dogs. Great night--but I've had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much vino!

I just ordered 6 king cakes from Publix for the sorority's desset tomorrow night. I am doing Mardi Gras all day. Mufalattas & Shrimp po boys for lunch and Jambalaya, red beans and french bread for dinner.
