Spring has arrived in SoWal. Yea! I was actually hot today, on the beach and in Seaside, people were swimming in the beautiful waters of the Gulf and sunning on the beach.

Camp Creek Lake and Deer Lake are both open and outflow is strong, guess it just takes a while for the level to go down again... sooner or later we'll have a dock again...

Walked the beach tonight between the two outflows, and caught the sunset, it was absolutely gorgeous!

That's a good thing, I thought Deer Lake was going to cross 30A.

I find it ironic that the Democratic Party gets registered democrats to vote, but leaves the power in the hands of the Super Delegates to pick the winner for the people. Seems not-so-Democratic to me.

I'm not sure I should post this here, but I don't think it should be a seperate thread. My random thought is I am really, at this point in time, appreciative of God and M.D. Anderson in Houston. My wife underwent kidney cancer surgery Friday. They removed her left kidney, spleen and adrenial (sp) gland. She is recovering nicely as of this morning and will be in the hospital for 7 to 10 days. We will remain in Houston until at least the l5th of March. All prayers are deeply appreciated by you SoWallers.
