Random Thoughts

I'm not sure I should post this here, but I don't think it should be a seperate thread. My random thought is I am really, at this point in time, appreciative of God and M.D. Anderson in Houston. My wife underwent kidney cancer surgery Friday. They removed her left kidney, spleen and adrenial (sp) gland. She is recovering nicely as of this morning and will be in the hospital for 7 to 10 days. We will remain in Houston until at least the l5th of March. All prayers are deeply appreciated by you SoWallers.

Glad she is recovering nicely. Will be thinking of you in thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself as well.

My prayers are with you and wife, and her medical team... MD Anderson is an amazing facility; I have two loved ones whose lives were saved by the wonderful cancer doctors there, including one who also had a kidney and adrenal gland removed... She's six years post surgery and doing very well.

I am so sorry. I have only heard the best about M. D. Anderson. You all will be in my prayers.

I hate it when I get behind on sowal...I started the Oscar thread and haven't even looked at it. I plan on catching up today if we get snowed in.;-) This is what has kept me busy the last 2 days. We still need to hang some pictures and buy a few more but as you can see...it's no longer the "little girl pink". She's been bugging me for a while now to change the color. After we saw a room on Make Me a Supermodel...we were both inspired.
