Well if you donated to the RNC it may have been your money. As I have said I have donated to candidates on both sides and had I donated money to the RNC or the Democrats I would be extremely disappointed in their use of my money. So it is news IMO.
it may be news to some - I am not saying it isn't. but for me there are much more pressing matters in this country, in the world and in this life. Also, what's wrong with a little entertainment after a hard day's work? No - I didn't contribute to the RNC and never will. But still - I find nothing interesting or noteworthy about this event.
When you contribute to politics it can pay for a lot of stuff including entertainment. Whenever the media reports such "news" as in the use of govt funds for travel and makes such a big deal out of something so ridiculous - it just makes me wonder why we are so interested and outraged about that stuff. and the important matters such as war, peace, hunger, racism, terrorism, real corruption of govt, health and education, drilling, etc... are just mundane matters we barely respond to.
but go out and involve some liquor and skin and its total outrage. I do not get it at all. I'm fairly sure there is more to the story such as people making mistakes but willing to correct them.

If the entire Republican National Committee left a strip club for under $2,000, I'd say they got a good deal. Is this really news? I can name many people both dems and reps who spend much more on their mistresses, which seems just as poor a decision.

Big difference here, RNC funds are NOT taxpayers funds, they belong to the members. Pelosi and Co wasted taxpayer money to attend the bogus global warming conference. Apples and oranges.
I know liberals think everything belongs to the government but I beg to differ with them.
