Well, I just called the vet and she's gone.

I am having her privately creamated (charging Gus and Deb for it) and I'm picking up her ashes when I'm home next.

My mom ended up taking her in, but coudn't stay.

I'm so very sorry. I hate this for you. You need a hug. The kids and I were with Lucy at the vets and it was hard. I cry again just thinking about it.

Roxie made your world better, but you all made her world. Dogs love with all their hearts, unconditionally. Roxie sounds like a blessing to you all.

This may seem insensitive to bring this up right now, but there is an online store called Forever Pets that has a beautiful selection of urns. They did a wonderful job when I lost my cat Puddin'. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
