That made me almost spit my coffee this morning. I just don't know if I'm buying all the whispers about a federal indictment looming over her house and the sports complex she had built when she was mayor. Seems lots of reporters and blogger in her state think the story is about to break.
It's intriguing to be sure; those rumors have been going around since last fall and between the timeline of the house construction and the materials used, it seems logical that there could be some very big issues there. With no building permits required in Wasilla, there would be no big paper trail.

I don't think one needs to pigeonhole those who recognize that she is not 'the right stuff' to be the POTUS as haters. Obama's actions do not change that fact.
Not saying that I agree with the way Sarah is resigning, but I don't see much difference between her quitting and Obama being a senator while he was out campaigning! He spent more time trying to get elected than being a Senator! I think I would have liked him as a Senator much better!!!!!!

I am really puzzled by this attitude...everything we know about Sarah Palin , we know because she opened herself and her family up for inspection.
Just because many people think she is unqualified and not the person for the job...does not mean that anyone "hates" her...I think we had this discussion here once before.
I fail to see how disagreeing with someone who has opened herself up for public review by running for a national office, can be categorized as "hate .

and finding glee in the wish that the President would make a mistake is what is truly sophomoric IMO.
It only appears that most of the disagreements are with firey darts attached. Why are you so defensive when I toss a firey dart?
How can you equate quitting for no reason w/ 18 months left in your term and everything going to hell w/ campaigning while in office (which Palin also did BTW)?
Palin isn't quitting because she is taking on a much larger job/responsibility, she's quitting because she can't handle her job......and one of the reasons her constituents are upset woth her is that she continued to be absentee AFTER the elections.
Though I do agree that we need to limit the campaigns so people aren;t spending more time running for the offices than serving in them. I vote for no campaigning OF ANY KIND more than 12 months before the election........and 10% of all campaign contributions going to reduce the federal debt.
I think she's quitting because the free time gives her the opportunity to make tons of money on the circuit and work on her presidential aspirations. I think she's likely to be successful on the former, but on the latter no ****ing way. She will continue to have a dedicated cult following but that's about it. Bells and whistles will go off in most people's heads if she even gets close to the presidency.
More like air raid sirens, nuclear test facility sirens, tornado sirens. . . .you get the idea.
