Sarah Palin resigns as Governor. Wild moose go into hiding

Reports today are that Palin resigned this weekend, but it was to cut her losses as she hasn't really been doing her job since the campaign ended and she knows things are only going to get worse in Alaska.

As for her doing it "for her family" - that ship sailed a long time ago. I think kids/family should be off limits to the media, but it's hard to cry "foul" when you choose to bring them into the spotlight and use them as part of your platform on certain issues.

Scooter: This is as succinct and correct a reply to the Palin "mystery" as you can get. What bugs me most about Palin is the way she doesn't seem to use coherent sentences, just rambles on, hoping she is using all the keywords to let us know what her position is.

Pretty much sums it up--she obviously has no stomach for politics--she spends time battling "small issuses" like Levi Johnson and HIS whacky family. She is not ever going to be ready for the main stage. Comic or comediennes attacks on her children are very nasty and uncalled for, but have happened since Amy Carter (she gets no "out" there, sorry), but that aint nothing compared to what gets slammed at all politicians, on a daily basis, and the worse it is the higher you go in p[olitics.

IMO, she is basically a right wing primma donna with no real fortitude for politics (both Dems and Repubs in Alaska have been all over her)and can only speak in robotic talking point at a national level. I think she needs to go back to school, start to read more, (esp. political science) raise her very nice family, and do her commentary schtick on the side.

I didn't know that going on book tours and huntin' moose would be classified as moving to a higher calling.

I can see the correlation between all of these moves to a "higher calling".

It is obvious that the media has no idea what is "really" happening. As some one told me once, take a chill pill and wait to see what happens. When she is ready, we will know. FBI has now stated that there are no investigations against Gov. Palin. The blogger is now pleading the First Amendment. If Sarah Palin pursues a lawsuit, it won't be difficult to prove malice on the part of the blogger....as well as other 'media sources!'

Sarah Palin is one smart lady! Again, you might not have liked her political platform - I wasn't crazy about some of it either, but I do respect her as a human and a mother!

Yeah, that would be the same First Amendment that let Palin say some of the insane things she said during her rally's about the current POTUS.

The blogger stated it was a rumor in her post and has also told Palin to bring it on. I would love to see the deposition in that case. You can't do something and then cry foul when someone else uses that right to free speech. Whats' good for the goose.............

I'm not bashing her when I say this; I am just stating a fact. As far as Palin the politician I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt I could NEVER sing her praises. She and I just don't click when it comes to her attitude, her voice, her ideology and her animal rights issues as well. NOPE won't happen. There are SO many more women out there to admire. She's just not on my list.

I am not sure but I think I will take Governer over Community Organizer 7 days a week.
