If you want to forget about all the world's troubles for a while, go see "The 40 Year Old Virgin." Absolutely hysterical (in a very adult way) but, believe it or not, a very sweet love story to boot.

I'm with you. Looks good waiting for DVD. Did you see "Under the Tuscan Sun"? That's a great movie. Probably a chick flick, but since I'm a "chick" it works for me.;-)

If you haven't seen it, you also may enjoy "Return to Me". Really good little movie. Have your hankie ready.

What, to cry? for what? I want to relate. For now I am manless! it's nice to have just your own worries..

I started watching the weekly show "Invasion" last week (in Michigan it's on at 10:00 PM on Wednesdays) and thought it was very good. I was looking for a weekly drama to watch. It's about a town that has a hurricane, but it looks like the hurricane is really a way for aliens to take over people's bodies. Sounds creepy (and it is) but you feel like you're watching small town America when it's on (nothing drastic, nothing but slightly creepy looks and happenings so far). Looks like the aliens are taking over the body of a physician/mother (and her husband -- second husband -- is kind of creepy so he's probably already an alien) and a priest. The doctor's first husband, a friend, and the woman's littel girl know that something strange is going on but don't know what. I'll look forward to watching it this Wednesday.

After we got past the hokey hurricane scenes we started to like this show. Creepy. I get skeered a lot easier than I used to. I won't be watching this alone. LOL

Paula if you want a weekly series to get into you need to watch LOST!!!! It's soooo good.

Thanks so much for the welcome - been lurking around here for awhile and just had to chime in on the movie recommendation. Watching the news the last few weeks has been just surreal and it was so nice to escape it for a few hours!
