if it's in his contract and he broke the rules, then he needs to face the consequences.

However, this seems like a rule for the "real" news reporters...not the opinion/entertainment types.

Wonder what will happen when the ratings start to fall?

Chris Hayes is a good guy--but he's no KO...

I've always considered Keith to be a dark teleprompter comic. A lot of people don't like it, a lot of people don't get it, but he's good at what he does. If MSNBC had a problem with his partisanship, they should have booted him long ago.

I take it back--this behavior is, of course, OK at Fox.....

REPORT: More than 30 Fox Newsers support GOP in 600-plus instances during midterms

October 27, 2010
During the 2009-2010 election cycle, more than 30 Fox News personalities have endorsed, raised money, or campaigned for Republican candidates or organizations in more than 600 instances. The Republican support has been given to more than 300 different races or party organizations in at least 47 states. Fox News personalities and hosts have also helped start pro-Republican organizations, which have raised tens of millions of dollars.
avior is OK at Fox News....

He is a well known liberal and no one considers him a "journalist" any more than anyone considers Sean Hannity one. They are the polar opposites of each other. I like and watch Hannity for the same reasons Lucifer watches Olbermann. While the suspension is between NBC and him, I have no problem personally with him donating to whoever he wants to. If it was Brain Williams, Anderson Cooper or Shepard Smith I would have a different reaction. They are supposed to be journalists.

Just wanted to let everyone know I used to watch a lot of Fox News as well. I used to think Hannity was the dumbest person in the news, but now that goes out to Gretchen Carlson.

Sounds like the Hatch Act. He should have a right to contribute to who he wants. If he contributes to a church will that shade his view, I don't think so. He is pretty much a Democrat so how this affects his view I am not sure.

While I don't agree with the judgement, he broke the rules so now he's gotta pay.
