Tofu takes on whatever 'flavor" it's introduced to. It's like a sponge so it'll really soak it up. If it's blended you will never know it's there.

I make rather large smoothies. In addition to the smoothie, add some fiber to your meal, like dry whole wheat toast, and you can go a long time without being hungry. And there inlies the problem. What do you use as the liquid filler / mixer![]()
I am not too familiar with rice milk. Is it a protein? The little Otters need some protein.Love your smoothie advice, SJ. Since I'm starting with my new TRAINER tomorrow, maybe I'll try the smoothies, too, since they sound so helpful. Also, rice milk could work as a substitute for dairy.
I just clicked on one of the smoothie recipes listed above and see Soy Milk (non-dairy) as a replacement ingredient for the yogurt (dairy). I think that would solve your protein problem. For Soy Milk, I think the vanilla flavored Silk is one of the better tasting ones.
(I like allrecipes.com and have used it as a reference when cooking several times with good results-- Thanks, lindabobhat.)
Well I found a few non-dairy recipes for smoothies:
