Well, the bumps I get on my feet are definitely not sunburn. I do put SC on my feet. They are very little and very itchy. One of the many mysterys of the wild!

My sister in law was in Sowal last week. She has those itchy little raised bumps in the exact line the sand was on her feet. She's not sunburned at all.

Poison Ivy/Oak, wierd bugs in the sand, and sticker bushes are nothing once you have encountered the stinging nettle. :yikes: My eyesite isn't what it use to be, but I can still spot those evil little weeds from about 20 paces.

That stuff was always invading my garden back in MN and we had to pick it to get rid of it. Feels just like the Nettle Jellyfish that is obviously properly named. Got into them a couple weeks ago in Navarre and ruined my morning fishing.

True 'dat. Before the boardwalk was built at Grayton, I used to walk with my aunt and my cousins from their house around the edge of the pass/littlelake/outfall enroute to the beach, and every dadgumed time I would find a nettle. :bang:

njackie, hoping the Queen Helene will help - I may pick some up just to have on hand, because visiting Wal-Mart with sunburned feet would simply be a small sliver of Hell.

Perhaps I have something worse than sunburn, I left Seagrove on the 14th and still have this blistering oozing junk going on. I am so lucky/healthy for an old girl that this is getting me down. Never went to the doc since other than my feet and toes no issue, I roll play myself telling the doc, " I just played in the sand with my grandchildren wearing sunscreen." What a moron! This just has to be an aging issue?

That's starting to sound like some sort of staph infection. You need to go to a doctor tomorrow.
