I do like Journey and most of Chicago's later music. I was a Journey "groupie" in high school.

That being said - songs that I can't get away from fast enough include:

"Daniel" by Elton John. I adore Elton John's older music; my very first 45 was "Crocodile Rock." I was sooooo happy when "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player" was remastered to a CD, because over my life, I've worn out five 8-tracks/cassettes fast-forwarding over "Daniel." Can't stand it.

"Loving You" by Minnie Riperton...I'd forgotten it until it was mentioned above and now I have the high screeching "oooooooo" part stuck in my head. :bang:

"Horse With No Name" and then that one about "Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is?"

"Wonderful Christmastime" and worse yet, "Feliz Navidad."

Any song that repeatedly throws the F bomb at me (in other words, the stuff Squirt listens to). There is one he likes that's kind of cute, "We Did It All for Don." It only has one F in it, but I haven't yet figured out who Don is.

Funny enough - many songs that I did not like when they were popular are OK with me now. Some I even like.

Hey Mickey by Toni Basil is the first thing that comes to mind. If that's not bad enough, she did a Spanish version, too!

That's a good one. It's even been parodied on South Park. On a side note, Minnie Ripperton is Maya Rudolph's (Saturday Night Live) mother.

I can't stand most of the current "pop" music on the radio - especially stuff by Fergie or Justin Timberlame!

I have my radio alarm set to that station because nothing will get me out of bed faster than "lady lumps" or "gold digger" to run across the room and smack the snooze!

Blasphemy! J/K :D

Anything by Marshall Tucker, Gordon Lightfoot or the Allman Brothers. All Mr OL's favorites. He HATES anything new and I've had to listen to the 70's crap for 20 years. Yeah, I'm bitter.

Wow, everyone has dug up some of my most disliked songs. I couldn't agree more. I especially agree about Springsteen, Nickelback and I'll add Black Crows.

HATE the "aweemoette" song. :bang:
