Do you have to have a prescription for these freebies or do you just walk in, tell the pharmacist your symptoms and he gives you the meds .... what antibiotic is best for strep throat? We appreciate your time and help !

No, you still have to have a prescription and I'm sure skunky will explain why anitbiotics will never be an over the counter medicine.

Influenza B has hit Newnan and Peachtree City. Unfortunately the flu shot doesn't cover that strain of flu. Mom's doctor said they guessed wrong when they made this season's vaccine. They had to lock down her assisted-living home for two weeks, and even after that, they made visitors wear gloves. Mom was so sick with diarrhea and vomiting.

I hope everyone out there with "the crud" gets well by Valentine's Day!

BTW my daughter can take all antibiotics except a Z-Pac. She gets a side effect that is too embarrassing to mention here. I can't take a Z-Pac because it is contraindicated with the heart rhythm abnormality I have.
