Today I really pushed my walking routine. I downloaded a new playlist and it was 40+ minutes long. It really motivated me to keep on when I really wanted to quit at 30 minutes. Not sure how far I walked but I'm guessing it was about 2 miles. My thighs were twitching afterwards so walked it off a bit more and they stopped. Is that normal?
totally normal. your muscles are trying to keep up and the twitching will go away after they build up a little and get used to the exercise. I experienced this quite a bit in yoga after ankle surgery, recovery, etc. its pretty weird.

I guess you know what's important to her now. But anyway! She said stretch stretch stretch before you go walking; that's it's not only the runners who have to do it.
