OL, sounds like you did great!!! Remember, 2 pieces of chocolate are a good way to get your antioxidants and marshmallows are fat free!

This make me feel better!

It's nice but cloudy so we didn't go to the pool as planned. I walked 2 miles and then worked out my arms with my therabands. Last week was not a good exercise week.

Thank you kindly for the reminder. The scale was undecidedly unfriendly to me this morning. :bang: A houseful of company for five days is very bad for your figure!

Memorial Day weekend kicked my butt - in a good way!

4 days of canoeing, swimming, biking, dancing, golfing, yardwork and being too busy to veg out/eat! :D

Overall I think I was really good this past week and the scale hasn't moved except maybe up a pound.:dunno::angry: Dang scales.

My arms are so sore from boxing on the Wii.

So I started turning the motha out one month and one week ago. Even tho I'm a little frustrated, I've lost 8-10 lbs. ( keeps going back and forth) My post on 4/21 said I'd like to lose 10-15 lbs and really 20 would be good. After seeing myself about 10 lbs lighter I see that I really need to lose another 10 at least. I do fit into a pair of shorts that were hanging on the door as my "guide" but they are a size 12 that I bought last summer. I def want to be a size 10. I re-measured and posted today's date. Still no change in my arms or thighs, waist-3 inches less, hips-2inches, bust 2 inches less. Best thing about this? I didn't feel "fat" at the pool on Saturday.:clap:The biggest thing I need to remember is...it took a couple of years to put this weight on and I need to be PATIENT in trying to get it off. I do so want it to be a lifestyle change.

I really don't like to see my family eating unhealthy either. Mr OL was on a third burger the other day and I said...isn't that your third?( one was a turkey burger) And he said..I guess it is. He's a big guy but does one really need to eat that much? When I started this thing he said...I see we're going on a diet. I was like...oh no WE aren't. This is something I need to do for myself. I didn't need him telling me he's lost 5 lbs in 5 days like he does all the time. Men drop the weight like it's a hot potato. Anyway, I may have hurt his feelings but now I would like him to start watching it. He's by no means overweight but could lose a few lbs and overall eat better. I guess I'll talk to him when the time is right.;-)

Thanks for letting me go on and on...it helps me see the big picture.
