I don't have a problem w/ people spitting, I have a problem w/ people spitting where I have to see it (either the process and the result), hear it, or step in it!

Depends on several factors. If they do it loudly and laugh about it I will slap them with 50 (which is a lot) for disrespect to a faculty officer or conduct unbecoming a cadet. If one slips (I have a brother--I know it happens) and they say, "Excuse me, ma'am" without encouraging chaos, I don't write them up at all. In those cases I sometimes have to write their classmates up for a lesser offense of conduct unbecoming for going into giggling fits.
Believe it or not, I've only had it happen a couple of times in class. Once was the loud noise and the other was a silent-but-deadly. (Harder to write that one up, since no one owns up to it.)

I don't feel so bad then. I don't do that.
