I had a truly wondrous boneless ribeye at Fleming's the other night. Saw a guy at the bar slathering his with A-1 . To each his own I suppose.

When Mr. IBD and I waited tables, long ago, we always could tell the type of tip we were getting when customers ordered.....
~Well done prime rib,
~no au juis (sp?)( b/c they thought it was undercooked),
~had some sort of steak sauce all over their steak
~a salad with 1000 island dressing. (sorry Skunky, I know you love it);-)
DISCLAIMER.....This is all from my observations of waiting tables many many many Friday and Saturday nights in Dothan Alabama. Please do not jump on me b/c you think I am saying if you use steak sauce, like your steak well done or if you like 1000 island dressing that you are a bad tipper. hmmmmmmm, did I cover everything (EXCEPT MY STEAK THAT IS )
I for one can not understand why a person would order a nice steak in a nice steak house and cover the flavor of the beef. If they want to do that go to Golden Corrals all you can eat steak on Friday nights...
I am completely offended. I know somebody that knows somebody who has an aunt that likes steak sauce. :roll: You are just being a great big meanie.
