I got stir crazy today....waiting.....so decided to pack up hubby and 4 kids and head out to Grayton and did some Yolo'n in the lake. It was absolutely gorgeous with hardly anyone out. Made my day today.

:nono1: Please know that the boardwalks are closed because it is not safe, no different than entering the water on a double red flag day....

Although I may come across as Debby Downer in this situation, please be careful as these boardwalks were closed for a reason. The County/TDC lost more than 45 walkovers in Dennis and Ivan. No, I don't expect that to happen in this storm, but if the sand is scoured out around the posts it could become dangerous. Please be careful as this is like entering the water when two red flags are flying. Thanks I am off my soapbox now.

I didn't mean like "You Go Girl, down the boardwalk", I meant it like "You rock" for the reporting and stuff. I don't think she would have like torn the caution tape down and walked down the boardwalk. I think she has more sense than that.

No kidding! Although I am thankful that we don't have a big cleanup today. But I have a lot of food- I really "feathered the nest" last week when getting ready for Fay.
