West end of 30-A same report. We are actually in the eye right now and expect the rain and wind to pick up later this evening.

Many of the walkovers have the tape ripped off, probably by people.
My wife and I were checking on two turtle nests last night and when we got back to the walkover, we were taped off and we were still on the beach side.
We had to bend and stoop and sneak through to get off the beach. Beach parking lots are either chained off or have cones across them. If you need pics for effect, I can go get some.

Not I. I was the first one at Stallworth this morning and hadda park in front of Gulf Place to start my walk. The silver one, not the Jeep for sale.

I will report from the North end. I am not a storm chaser, though. I am a storm sitter. This is the zen side of storm reporting. I sit and wait for the storm to come to me and then I report it.

I am going to gain 10 pounds since I have not stopped eating since yesterday. Here is the Tropical Storm Fay food report since noon yesterday:
Huge chicken sandwich at fabrice- ate the whole thing-LOTS of bread!
Fabrice chocolate cookies
Roast chicken w/lemon and rosemary, white beans, pan gravy
Fabrice chocolate cookies
Homemade blueberry muffins and bacon

Morning snack TBA.
