Good job Joe - you know where I am.

Just heard there was a 100 lb. Tarpon caught on the beach today.
Yes, I talked to a new friend last night who told me there was a school of 70-80 Tarpon heading east and that someone at Grayton landed a 100#er. Mine were not 100#ers, but they were good eating, especially the crabs.

On a similar note, all of this talk of crabs and Nicks in the Sticks, drew me to Nick's for some crabs two nights ago. Yes, they are only $13 / half dz., but they were definitely frozen and small. After "dinner" we decided to go to dinner at the Seabar. I guess after this incident, the crabs we caught tasted even better than usual.

By the way, Dread Clampitt announced that they have been asked to perform for the Moe / Allman Bros after-the-show-party, and they they are playing the wedding of Moe's guitar player. Good for the boys! :clap_1:

War Mackeral caught (and released) it Thursday afternoon at Grayton. The picture is at Yellowfin. A HUGE fish. War Mackeral's smile is almost as huge!

:D

I was picturing him being like the Old Man and the Sea. Where is that photo? We are waiting.

The photo is a snapshot (from the kind of camera that uses film). I don't have it anymore and didn't think to scan it before sending it to Yellowfin. :sosad: I guess you'll have to go there, or find the Mackeral on the beach - I bet he's got a few in his glove compartment for you to look at.

Saw a guy pull in two Pompano this afternoon. The first one was a big fish. He was using sand fleas.
