We are tired of taking our teenage kids to Orlanda for their March break and thought St Pete area would be a nice change..any suggeations on to where to stay for a two bedroom resort with funn things to do for teenagers?
What about Sand Key? It's been 10 years since we've been there, tho.TooFarTampa said:There's the Sirata and Tradewinds, both on St. Pete Beach. Tradewinds is very nice and I'm pretty sure they have suites. Last time I passed by the Sirata I wasn't that impressed, but I think they may have been renovated.
Clearwater Beach is insane and you don't want to go anywhere near it with teenagers. I'd stay closer to St. Pete Beach. So much change going on down there, and I don't get down that way that much -- wish I could be more specific.
Downtown St. Pete is also really hoppin'. I can't believe it; it was a ghost town 15 years ago, but it is beautiful now, with some shopping, movies, lots of restaurants and a pretty good nightlife. It is a beautiful downtown, right on the waterfront. So if you're down for a week it's a good place to go for a change of pace.

We are giving very serious thought to celebrating our anniversary with a little trip to the Tampa Blues Festival in early May. We don't need anything fancyschmancy, but I wouldn't mind a pool. Sometimes it's kinda hard to research on the 'net because places do not always live up to what you see on a little screen.
