Wow. thanks very much TFT. I will check these places out. It is our anniversary, but we were kinda saving the big bucks for our summer trip, so the Hampton might be our best bet.

Tradewinds is cool...and in a very good spot..Kurt's and my sis lives in St. Pete...little secret...we were all born there

We are giving very serious thought to celebrating our anniversary with a little trip to the Tampa Blues Festival in early May. We don't need anything fancyschmancy, but I wouldn't mind a pool. Sometimes it's kinda hard to research on the 'net because places do not always live up to what you see on a little screen.
