I was required to take boater's safety classes and gun safety lessons before I could drive a motor boat or shoot a gun. Don't have a problem with others having to do the same - in fact I think it should be required.
I have an issue with mentally deranged people or convicted felons owning any type of weaponry that can easily be used to kill multiple people.
Yes, you can kill or harm others in a wide variety of ways if you are truly determined to do so - guns (especially certain kinds) just make it way too easy IMO.

Make fun of the Tea Party folks all you want...it will not change a thing. The movement is bigger than you gave it credit for. They are making a difference. You might not agree with their opinions,or what they represent, but they are standing up for what they believe and are fighting back with their votes...so laugh, and poke your fun, but it will not matter...the American people along with the Tea Party Folks will take back their country and we will REMOVE those in Washington that are trying to destroy our country. Even if we have to do it "one lighbulb" at a time.
