I thought this sounded good and wanted to share...easy too!

Spook Crisps
6 plain or flavored flour tortillas (10 in.)
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/3 cup (1/6 lb.) melted butter or margarine

1. Use Halloween cookie cutters to cut tortillas into shapes such as ghosts, goblins, witches, and jack-o'-lanterns.
2. Lay the cutouts slightly apart on 2 nonstick baking sheets about 14 by 17 inches.

3. Mix cheese and chili powder.

4. Brush tortillas with butter. Sprinkle with cheese mixture.

5. Bake in a 350? oven until golden and crisp, about 15 minutes; if using 1 oven, switch pan positions halfway through baking.

6. Transfer crisps to racks. Serve warm or cool.

Yield: Makes about 48 (3- to 4-in. size) or 12 (6- to 8-in. size); 10 to 12 servings

Oh-change the light in the bathroom to a red light. get some wippy cushions( dont tell your son that you are doing this ) and place them on the sofa then put a sheet over it. if you want to do games for them you can place a big bowl of water in the middle of the room with some goldfish in the bowl get a few sticks and put a magnit on the end of the string throw a few pennies in the bowl. shut the lights off and shine a flash light on the bowl, try to have the kids pick the penny up with thier stick. And if they get it out of the bowl Then you can give them a can of silly string or the ones that get thr penny out are the ones that get sprayed with the string lol

Dabell, you make me laugh. I've never heard them called wippy cushions before. My son thinks these are just so funny. He just bought a self inflating whoopy cushion at the novelty store. I was getting some things for the kids class parties and he was in there having a ball with all the junk.

I make something else similar to this when I''m watching my carbs. I use pita pockets and cut them into peices. Brush them with olive oil, add whatever seasoning you like and then bake a few minutes until crisp.

My son Will, is proudly wearing his whoopie cushion costume. Yes, an almost 6 ft. tall pinkish felt whoopie cushion. It is fantastic, and warm too!

Maybe, SOMEONE chould compile a Sowal Recipe Book. You know, like a lot of churches & Jr. leagues have!
I'm totally into doing cookbooks. I'd be glad to help. I was on our Junior League cookbook committee. My recipes have been published in the Neiman Marcus cookbooks twice and also in several others. I love to cook when I have time. However, the day-to-day stuff is a drag for those of us who work.
