There was a part of me that was curious (when I figured out how to attach a picture) what the response would be to something as simple as wildflowers. Granted, it is missing the drama, controversy and panache of many threads but I find flowers peaceful and calming. My 45 mile drive to work through the East Texas countryside is made more pleasant during this time of year by some of the views I get to enjoy.

Fabulous. Hope they are still blooming as we'll be making a drive through Texas Bluebonnet country soon. Nice natural backyard, too.
