where are those gorgeous mountains johnr ?

the wilson range in telluride. that was the view from the master bedroom of my first house.

you can walk up to the false peakfrom the backside, to about 50' below the peak. then it's quite the perilous wallhug across to the peak access, icy still in sept. one wrong move... awesome to say the least. you can see four states from up there.

that sounds fun, need to get to glacier someday. another place i need to be, (saw it from a plane, and via john weller's photos/movie) is great sand dunes national park.

they are in SC too....they are the best...one of those things, though, that you love or hate...no middle of the road...when I lived in Charleston...one of my customers grew peanuts and boiled some for us...they were as big as your thumb...my gosh...heaven!!!
Kurt makes a great cajun boiled peanut!!!...some people even use crab boil to cook them:lol:

I agree. I'm a hater I guess. I'll never forget the first time we tried them. We saw all the signs and were curious. We stopped at this little shack type place on the side of the road. We walked up and the guy said in a very southern accent...Ya wanna try a bawled peanut? It's gonna taste like a bean to y'all! It did kinda taste like a bean...but as a snack...I don't think so.
