You must be referring to the New Wives Store.

I wonder if there is a Slightly Used Wives Store, where they are over the desire to get married. :dunno:

Egg Zachary. That shine wears off quickly. Personally, I think all marriage licenses should expire every 12 months. That way, people who wanted to stay married, would have to work hard at keeping the relationship interesting and exciting. Mike Dekle, a friend of mine back in Athens, GA, wrote a song, made famous by Tracy Byrd, "Don't Love Make a Diamond Shine," and it is very true.

Chorus:
Don't love make a diamond shine It don't matter if it costed a dime
Dang thing looks like a million bucks
Sitting on the hand of a girl in love
Perfect fifteen carats is duller than dirt if the heart don't wear it
Three little words it will knock you blind
Don't love make a diamond shine

I'd say 12 months is enough time for a diamond to start fogging up.

I like that idea ...with re-up bonuses too!

The bonuses would come throughout the year, if a renewal is going to happen. Too many people forget about investing in the relationship once the hurdle of marriage is cleared. It seems that many people think they want the dream world of a perfect marriage, and they will do anything to marry, but how quickly the shine wears dull when they start to be truthful. I think this Husband Store is the perfect story.

I think it's a two way street as far as expectations and effort go.

All I know is that witnessing some of my friends' marriages/husband issues sure makes me happy I'm single! ;-)

Wouldn't that be called "The First Wives Club"!

I think some girls get "ga-ga" over the dress the cake the ring....when they should be getting "ga-ga" with the guy!

Probably best to stay away from the perpetual princess who only wants to be a bride so she can be the center of attention.....

Marriage can Rock if you really want it to!
