SMALL WORLD STORY OF THE DAY:

His housesitter's best friend's parents are some of my great friends, and they're also big skiers on Lake Lanier/mudpuddle. I just happen to be going over there for dinner. I'm going to raise a stink about this. :D

p.s. NoHall is aggravated story of the day: I don't care if they're on well water if there is a water crisis. Wasting water is wasting water, and we're having a drought, and my well just went dry.

I imagine it is mostly water used to water lawns.

Grayt idea. Now, how do we get that to happen?
I will bet it all that he has St. Augustine grass, and it is watered once or twice a day on timers bypassed from rain sensors. The city does the same thing here, only much of the roads are also doused.

There is SO much water wasted everywhere!

I think part of Tiger's high bill is golf course/green watering, but the amount of water you see wasted daily on 30-A is ridonkulous.

I vote we get rid of all the automatic irrigation systems!

I have my smart a$$ question all ready to go for the HOA meeting (and pics!)...

Why are we watering during a hurricane? :bang:

At Camp Creek, the water comes in from Destin Waste Utilities, and is recycled water. Even when we wash off all equipment, we use recycled water. Go Packers!!:D

Good to know! I have a call in to the powers that be to find out about the holding pond at Watersound. Thanks for letting us know about Camp Creek. What exactly is recycled water?

Is that what the giant retaining pond is behind the course?

i think this may be relevant, i believe Tiger's estate on Hobe Sound is 10 acres, so that's alittle more grass than your average yard, no?

True, but you could do natural vegetation as opposed to a private golf course and not need to water anything. ;-)

I'm pretty sure he doesn't care about water usage as he's currently designing a golf course for a development in Dubai (Sanscrit for desert, just sarcasm).
