Today on Hwy 98 in SRB

OK, so I am heading West and am in the slow lane. I am nearly in panic mode as I watch an SUV bearing down on me and I am sure is about to rear-end me.
Suddenly it jerks into the passing lane, slamming on the brakes and there is some lady with her cell in one hand waving her arms screaming at me like I was doing something wrong. I looked down to see that I was doing 49 mph in a 45. I motioned to let her know which place she had just won in this race and away she floors it, arms still flailing.

A half mile down the road cops are parked on North side of 98 just West of the post office. They nailed her.

I sooooooo wanted to stop and let the cops know what had just transpired between me and this crazy lady on her phone. Instead I slowed way down and waved real nice as I went by. :funn::funn:

The lady was in a tan SUV.

I think this is hilarious. Not what nearly happened to you but the fact that the cops nailed her and you slowing way down and waving really nice as you went by. I can picture this. Now the question is, did she see you waving at her?

I wish. I might have stopped waving with all of my fingers just to let her know I knew who she was. Cop hadn't gotten out of their car yet and I didn't want to upset the scene of the crime.

I've really had it with the tailgaters - keep waiting to get rear ended when I do something wild and crazy like stop for pedestrians or a stop sign! :roll:

Odds are that if the scootermobile is going too slow for you, you severely need a run-in with the po-po and a heapin' helpin' of patience, since one of my vices is a lead foot! :angry:

Can't tell you how many times I have wished for that to happen. Glad to know that it does on occasion.
