I have Floydian and Freudian tendencies with a sprinkling of Nietzsche for zestiness.
Floyd is a dominant component of my psyche , but they haven't taken over my Beatles fundamentalism. I try to bridge the chasm with doses of King Crimson, circa '85 to '95, from time to time. Is this correct?

Our son-in-law who is a Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech has a research grant to develop drones. Drones avoid human beings on our side from dying. He is also developing a swarm technology where multiple drones have the artificial intelligence to attack enemy planes. He tests them out at Fort Benning because one wouldn't want a programming error that close to the Atlanta airport. Actually he has another research grant from Mathworks in Boston to virtually test the drones as computer models to debug them before they are physically tested as actual aircraft. The research is very strictly controlled. So David, I don't think you need to worry. The DOD is being very careful about this research.

I think drones have the potential to become airborne land mines, just a little more elegant. Their endless looping is kind of ominous. I'm guessing they are up so frequently because remote pilots at different locations want to test them. Everyone who lives in SOWAl should look for them at night. They sound like prop airplanes, red blinking and strobe lights, will be flying in loops, usually three or four at a time are being flown. I see them fine from Seagrove, I'm guessing they are flying over the bay for the most part.
