And there are some who are so focused on partisanship/drunk on the Kool-aid that EVERYTHING is an insult or a slam or an attack on their way of life.

"Do you have any evidence to support your claim?" is not an insult or someone trying to start an argument - it is usually someone asking for information and trying to determine the truthfulness of something.

Considering how twisted most political arguments, emails, and posts are, asking for verification is not a bad thing.

I (and everyone else) look at the world through a lens forged by experiences and opinions. Obviously if I have not witnessed something, I would like a credible source to have done so.

Instead of pitching a fit and getting insulted, post a source (we can then determine for ourselves any bias) or say "I experienced x,y,z, which is why I said that".

Some unions serve a good purpose some are exactly what 30A was referencing, kinda like political parties, some bad, some good in all of them.

However due to one's age, some of of us have experienced more first hand than others, and it has not necessarily been documented by the media therefore not available for linking to some internet article.

For example my neighbors got egged last night, did not make the news, therefore no link, but it did happen, I saw it.

Unless it's published in the NYT tomorrow, you won't convince anyone here it actually happened. :D

Some of us don't care two hoots in hell about his citizenship. He's our President and there is nothing we can do about it until the next election. All we know is that so far we feel he has done a lousy job and that is our right and privilege just as is it is the right and privilege of "some" to intimate that what actually happen to me is a lie.

You and most people in America. In fact I'll give the Tea Baggers this, the majority of them have denounced the birthers as total crack pots.
