I'm not going to argue with you, SJ. I almost always agree with what you say, but not this time. I am not talking about Wal Mart making this country great, I am talking about the genral conservative attitude of the great American populace which I still believe in and see very little of many times on this board. I guess I should say my belief in the total values of America. It seems many do not relate to what we have compared to other places in the world. Until you experience it first hand it is hard to understand and accept and I am not talking about vacations, I'm talking about living elsewhere in the world.

To SJ : Andy A. must not be "confused with YOUR facts," if and when he is rebutted..he has his own "facts' which he chooses to listen to and believe in, and he has "made up his mind!" End of story! :dunno:

Now that is something I thought I would never see/read.....BR IN WAL-MART.:clap::clap:I wish I had been a fly on the wall to have seen that. Ok, tell the truth BR, what else did you buy while you were in there? You know I am just funning with you. ;-) Merry Christmas!!!!!
I know you're teasing me. It's hilarious.:rotfl:

True confessions -- I bought something else there -- bought daughter a stocking stuffer -- a new shower curtain liner. Hers is grosser than some of the people in Wal-Mart who looked like they hadn't washed their hair in a week -- you know, the ones with the kids whose shirts have remnants of their last week of meals on the front of their shirts.

Hey, I just noticed that if you rearrange the letters in WalMart, you can make the word, MalWart (mal -- bad ; wart -- any unattractive detrimental feature or aspect).

Your daughter's is worse? That is gross. Maybe you should buy her a scrub brush and some Tilex.

Around my house it's WalHose....I've got my wife, and several neighbors using the term, but we all shop there for the free entertainment and Chinese products. Thank you, ghost o' Sam Walton. You gave us the McDonalds of retail, and made ghostowns of downtown small-town America

The Destin Target is particularly good for that since they don't turn over stock as quickly as the one in Mary Esther does. (I never found good clearance stuff there) Best recent score- a Tivoli Model Three radio for $50 instead of $200.

That is a deal....I have never shopped the electronics clearance....I'll have to remember that.

Realty firm opens office inside Wal-Mart
Firm tries to reach more customers, boost struggling industry

Not only can you buy furniture at Wal-Mart, but you can now shop there for a house to put it in, too.

Phoenix's Metro North Realty opened a sales office inside the Peoria Wal-Mart at 7975 W. Peoria Ave. last month in the midst of the major downturn in the real-estate market.

It is the first residential real-estate company in the state - and one of a handful across the country - with a contract allowing it to advertise and sell properties from within Wal-Mart stores, Wal-Mart spokesman Daniel Morales said.

.
The Super Wal-Mart in our town has a real estate office inside...they have a big screen tv that flashes the listings on the screen...also has a McDonalds, a hair salon and an optometrist. I like the small grocery stores...I'm tired of super-sized everything.

The Pier Park Target has them for $100. Not quite the screaming deal you found, but still a bunch better than the $250 Tivoli wants on their own web site.
