Yes you are probably right! We all live in a capitalistic society where money is king. It is the reason why law and regulation is important. Quality of life in society require Law and Regulation and is a responsibility of those we put into government offices. Many abuse that responsibility out of greed I assume. We need our government to work for the people not just people with money...
I've never liked watching Florida be raped but it is much worse when those sticking it to us say it is for our own good for progress, jobs, tax money, tourism, etc. They want to pave it ALL. So sad that our Walton County government sold out to the rapists.

Having public lands, dunes, forests increase the desirability and value of private property in the long run but the greedy only see the dollars of today. Government should know better.

Many of the instigators 2 of whom are now deceased and the third moved back to Arkansas; stated unequivocally many times that if this stood it would literally destroy America, Democracy and puppies. Puppies is a joke, but these people sincerely believe it would lead to communism or socialism. They live on another planet of constant hysterics, they're really just a joke at this point.

How did judge green still deed beach to jasmine dunes in 2021 . After beach fight started. My biggest complaint is how the tax dept and judge agree to give upland owners beach tax deeds. Then say there’s a beach ownership issue. If you go to court house or tax roll. You can see the county was never notified. So who is responsible for tax deeds appraiser or judge. Or did the county say it was okay to give beach tax deeds to upland owners. No one from county will talk about how beach properties were given for tax deeds. Does this make them gov. Warranty deeds or do they just own tax deeds.

So do you think a home owner , that has land north of dunes should be able to go to the county and get the land towards the water. ( the beach ) for tax deed of 100 a year. I’m only complaining that county should not have right to give beach away for that amount or any amount.
Do you honestly believe the county would give away public beach "for tax deed of 100 a year", whatever that means? If so, that thinking is EXACTLY how Florida Beaches for All ( Dave Rauschkolb and Grim Reaper, a.k.a. Daniel Uhlfelder) managed to LIE to and convince many of their followers that the quiet title process was, in effect, "stealing beach from the public". So much ignorance caved into emotion which perpetuated this myth. Even some of the commissioners believed it (or wanted to).

It's the commissioners that filed suit regarding customary use. Why in the hell would they GIVE away public beach IF it belonged to the public? You do know the county spent MANY MILLIONS to assert Customary Use? Sorry, your post makes absolutely no sense.

I can show you proof. Anytime you want look at deeds in gulf shore manor . The house deeds are different than the year on beach front. Look at jasmine dunes on tax deed they just got there’s in 2021 on beach front sand area. That’s what I’m trying to say . I know for a fact that’s what they did .9AC12949-193F-475B-8A71-091E95089A14.png

Notice there was no one who owned beach from above in the 1990’s . Then as early as 2015 beach parcels were still separated on some. All of these lots were granted for 100. So surely I do think and know that’s what they did. But feel free to call the head of Walton tax dept tomorrow or even contact the old head of tax mr pilcher . Hen post your answer. He might same some where granted ages ago, I would guess over half where given tax deeds by county in last 30 years . ( but not exactly sure. But if you want to go in on halves, will meet and we can do records search request.)

Well look at that, we can agree on something. At least that the county isn't giving away tax deeds for $100.

I agree that it is much worse when a rich and powerful person tell us that "progress" is for our own good because those type people have missed something in life and replaced it with an untruth about what progress actually means. Government should be able to define progress for all the people not just people with money who are never really satisfied. You are also right that public lands and protected habitats are very desirable and important for ALL of us including private property owners. The conversations we had here with Mike Huckabee exposed the ugly truth of those with money and power which is human superiority beliefs. They are convinced that they know what is best for ALL of us. It is amazing to me that a lot of people believe that. I don't understand those people and I try to help them understand that all of us are important because all of us are living miracles of life. We should all be able to relate on some level of existence. It is also true that we are a greedy species and maybe that is a flaw that can only be managed if we are aware that moderation is the answer to greedy behavior. Government needs to be aware of this because the infrastructure needed in modern society not to mention how important our natural resources are to quality of life. I do not think the Mike Huckabee's of this world are aware. I hope I am wrong about him and people like him...
