Kinda sounds like someone is using blow dryer every now and again.

what a great house...do you think a citrus tree would be a good choice for your yard? The edible landscape is great...Had a friend who had grapefruit, lemon and an orange trees in his yard. It was a fabulous setting for breakfasts....

We've surely thought about satsumas - my favorite citrus.

Right now we have 2 figs, loquat as far as trees. The rest is a just container growing fruit and veggies and herbs and oh yes, our small hydroponic set up

Citrus takes a little bit of work down here because of the winter cold snaps, and you need to check if a given species can self-pollinate or requires cross polination like some tangerines do.

But if you're willing to deal with the quirks, you won't find a better tasting satsuma than the one you can pick from your own yard, IMO.

ICF has worked out beautifully for us in the three years we have been in our house, even in Texas heat. AND we love our metal roof (has held up well in yearly hailstorms). I look forward to tracking down your "villa" when we are in BMB in September so I can see it for real!

Well, my bad. After thinking about it again, it is actually the charge controller that makes the noise.

But it is music to my ears - anyway, that's what it is - the fan cooling the charge controller. I think I got that right. I'm still SO learning.
