I love his Special Comments for the way he uses the language.

You guys ease up on Bob, a bit. It was a little bit enlightening to know where Hannity comes from. I wonder how bozos (I'm not making an attack) like him and O'Reilly, and Glenn Beck get enough credibility to get on TV in the first place.

The same way Olbermann and Mathews did I imagine. Talk about biased bozos.

I agree, he is terrific and terrifically intelligent. Surprise, surprise I watch him 5 days a week religiously,...uh I mean consistently!

I liked Oberman for a while, but he did get awful childish/silly. Hannity strikes me as someone who ran out anything to say about two or three years ago and is simply spewing these days to get a paycheck. O'Reilly every once in while tries to pretend he's "Fair & Balance" and comes off as hypocritical almost everytime. I like Chris Matthews. I think he does ask hard ball questions. Glenn Beck is simply a nut. His producer/network must grit their teeth alot, as they rake in the ratings and money.

I think that the ratio of welfare recipients to the entire population in Walton County is higher than in most mid sized cities. I know that 46% of the students in Walton County are eligible for reduced/free lunches. Jackonville, by comparison, has 39% eligible.

I promised myself I would stay off the political threads, but I can't let this one go by. Eligibility for reduced/free lunches only means the family is poor -it does not necessarily mean the family consists of welfare recipients. In Walton County many of the poor families are the working poor. I guess you can call the free lunches and whatever other government assistance they qualify for "welfare" but I don't myself consider a working family to be in the same category as a general welfare recipient who doesn't work at all.
Your thinking that the ratio of welfare recipients to the entire population is higher than most mid-size cities is only speculation. We need first your definition of "welfare" - what it includes and doesn't include, and then we need the actual figure, not what you think it might be.

good point, but when a news organization throws it's weight behind a personality, wouldn't you think a solid formal education would be a desirable trait given the thousands of hours that personality will be spewing his opinion?

I guess that's like saying why would a country throw it's full weight behind a President without a solid formal education???

Ever heard of George Washington--do a little reading on the subject of his formal education.

Not saying I like Hannity, just trying to make a point about your ridiculous comment on a "solid formal education." If you are smart (not saying Hannity is), hard working, ambitious and a good leader, you don't need a formal education to succeed unless you want to be a doctor, lawyer, etc.

I agree with Kitty that your comment was totally elitist, and flat out, ignorant.
