I don't remember any evidence against Thomas but Hill's word. We have photos of the Weiner. Thomas was a witchhunt in an attempt to keep him off the court.

Well you asked the question, so I assumed that you took Anita Hill at her word as I do.

You are evading the point of the discussion which was to compare two different situations. You also threw in a cheap shot that my views were politically motivated. Whether you know it or not, the question was asked by you assuming for the sake of argument both situations really did occur. Whew! Now that that's out of the way,which is creepier, two adults engaging in consensual recreational smut exchange (Weiner) or repeated sexual harassment in the workplace (Thomas)?

He's been trying to cover up all the lose ends, and apparently lied about doing so at his press conference. These people just love digging holes for themselves. If he lied about the encounters, then admitted to them but lied about not covering it up.. you have to wonder what's out there that hasn't been brough to light yet.

While I do not believe Thomas committed such acts, to answer your question workplace harassment is far creepier than anything consensual.
I for one do not care what Weiner or Lee or any of the rest do with their personal lives. My only concern is the blackmail threat that a public figure engaged in such behavior faces and that threat would be much less if the media would get out of people's private affairs. But under the current state of politics if Lee had to go, Weiner has to go.

You say "we all know..". When you say "we", surely you're not talking about me. I'm unfazed by his Internet sexcapades. In fact, I think it's healthy. The Thomas situation is much creepier as is the Bill O'reilly situation.
